It's important to trust and feel comfortable with the people you choose to work with. So let me introduce myself.
I'm Ed Best and I set up The London Property Surveyor in January 2019.

Although surveying is a technical job and we work with buildings, in reality, while technical skill and knowledge are important, we're really here to help our clients make some of the biggest decisions of their lives. And they are looking to us as surveyors to provide straightforward, clear and honest advice. The Surveyor’s role is to help you understand the property you are buying and to remove some of the uncertainty and stress from the buying process.

That's why I chose to set up my own practice. I can focus on the needs of my clients and take the time needed to thoroughly understand the property you intend to buy. In turn I can spend the time to talk you through the results and make sure that you are fully in the picture.

It's the same with Party Wall projects. I can take the time to clearly explain the process and guide you through the stages of the Party Wall Act.
​
This means I may not be the cheapest but it also means I will focus on your job and I will not be in a rush to get to the next job just to fill my quota. In fact I limit myself to one survey a day. That means I can dedicate my time to the survey, I have time to reflect and I'm not just ticking boxes in a rush to get to the next job.
